Cannon Hall Museum Park & Gardens receives funding to showcase collections

Cannon Hall Museum Park & Gardens has been awarded £60,000 from the DCMS/Wolfson Museums and Galleries Improvement Fund 2018-20 to showcase wonderful pieces of pottery by acclaimed artists.
The money will be used in conjunction with the Cracking Ceramics! project, run through previously secured funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund and delivered through the Museums Association.
Visitors to the museum will be able to view pottery by artists such as William De Morgan, Christopher Dresser, Walter Crane and the Martin Brothers, as well as the influential factories of Minton, in new and exciting ways.
