What people think of our museums

Very interesting

A lovely little museum depicting various periods of Barnsley history. A great exhibit on the Slazenger factory ( now closed). My wife was born in Barnsley and immigrated to Canada in 1964 and until we visited the museum, was unaware of this piece of history!!! Well done!

Fabulous Treasures Exhibition

Barnsley Treasures exhibition was fabulous . Well done to all the staff the lighting did justice to the exhibition. Special mention to Steven he was very knowlegable and made it a great experience.

Brilliant local history museum

A really excellent local history museum, put together with style and imagination. We went in expecting to stay for 20 minutes and stayed for more like 90! Thoroughly recommended.
