Adopt a Harvest Mouse or Owl

Why not buy an adoption pack for one of the animals that make Worsbrough Mill and Country Park their home?

Worsbrough Mill and Country Park has been recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its importance as a wet woodlands habitat.

Worsbrough is a crucial nesting site for the smallest – and possibly the cutest – rodent in the country, the harvest mouse. The harvest mouse population is in decline, but breeding numbers at Worsbrough are steadily increasing.

By adopting a harvest mouse, you will be helping Worsbrough continue the great work already started and in return you will receive an adoption pack full of information and goodies including a cuddly toy for just £20.

Alternatively, the woodland is home to several species of owl, and we offer a similar adoption scheme with a fluffy owl toy as part of the adoption pack.

All proceeds will help with important conservation work at the site. 

Celebration Pear Tree

Our beautiful celebration tree sculpture located in Cannon Hall walled garden will help you to remember special times or mark one of life’s major milestones.

For a donation of £10 per month you can add a pear to our celebration tree, which can be engraved with a message of your choice. Your contribution will help us to keep the Cannon Hall gardens growing for years to come.
