Share your views on Elsecar Heritage Centre  

Elsecar Heritage Centre is a hugely important heritage site in Barnsley. We would like your views to help shape its future and to make Elsecar a vibrant place for everyone to enjoy. We want to create a long-term plan for Elsecar which recognises its unique history, alongside its place in the community today.  

We’d love to hear from you, so would be very grateful if you could complete the survey to let us know your views by Sunday 1 March 2026. The survey only takes 5-10 minutes to complete.  

You can also complete the survey in-person, with chance to ask questions, at the following sessions:  

• Tuesday 3 Feb, 9.30am – 5pm, Hoyland Library  

• Tuesday 10 Feb, 10am – 4pm, Elsecar Heritage Centre Visitor Centre  

• Tuesday 17 Feb, 10am – 4pm, Elsecar Heritage Centre Visitor Centre  

There will be an unmanned desk with paper copies of the survey at the Visitor Centre at Elsecar from Tuesday 3 February to Tuesday 3 March. This is available during the Visitor Centre’s opening hours which are Monday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
