We Need Your Help!

We’re delighted to have been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund to help us create a fabulous nature-themed play area in a newly created, fully accessible space – the Worsbrough Waggonway Glade.

We would like to turn the newly cleared woodland glade area into a fun place for families to enjoy, creating interactions through forest school workshops, volunteer sessions and local artist-made items.

Outdoor and creative play is well known to be beneficial to both mental health and physical well-being. 

The play area will be made in collaboration with local children through the forest school workshops. The installations, created by local artists and volunteers, will give visitors the opportunity to learn about the wildlife found at Worsbrough Country Park, a free site within easy reach of the town centre.If you are a Co-Op member, 1p from every pound spent on selected products goes to support local projects like ours, and you can select us as your cause by visiting the Co-op website.
