Volunteer Hedge Laying at Worsbrough Mill and Country Park

Are you looking for a new challenge in the New Year? One that gets you out in the fresh air and allows you to meet new people?
If so, you could join other volunteers and staff at Worsbrough Mill and County Park in 2024 and help them to take care of the hedgerows through traditional hedge laying techniques.
You don’t need any previous experience to take part, just arrive dressed for the outdoors and all equipment and training will be provided.
Sessions will take place between 9.30 am and 3pm on the following dates:
Monday 8th January
Wednesday 24th January
Monday 5th February
Wednesday 21st February
Wednesday 28th February
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, but you may want to bring a packed lunch. Alternatively, you could treat yourself to lunch from the excellent Millers Tea Room on site.
