Up Our Street Exhibition

Art and Design students from Barnsley College are currently showcasing their ‘Up Our Street’ in the Sadler Room at The Cooper Gallery.
The exhibition is a collection of print-based works produced by Level 3 Art and Design diploma students in response to a ‘People and Places’ theme which explores locations either in Barnsley or cities around the world.
Barnsley Museums and Heritage Trust enjoys working closely with students from the college to offer opportunities like this, and we are very pleased that Liz Leek, Deputy Principal Culture, Place and Communities, is one of our Trustees. Liz recently visited the exhibition and selected four prints to be displayed across college sites.
The standard of work really is exceptional and some of the pieces are available to buy, offering a great opportunity to purchase work from young, emerging artists.
