Memories of Barnsley’s past – An exhibition by the Tasker Photographic Trust

This wonderful exhibition in the Sadler Room at The Cooper Gallery includes fascinating pictures and photographs of old buildings and their occupants, showing the development of Barnsley over the last 150 years.

The exhibition themes of transport, public houses, Peel Square, the markets, fashion and industry offer a captivating insight into the ever-changing face of Barnsley’s town centre and its resilient community.


The exhibition opens on Saturday 15th January and runs until Saturday 19th March. As the Sadler room is occasionally used for events, please do contact the gallery on 01226 775678 before your visit to ensure you will be able to access the exhibition.
