Live History is a theatre company that specialises in creating immersive shows that bring history to life, using actors, costumes, props, and puzzles to recreate the stories of people who lived in different times and places. Live History shows are interactive, allowing the audience to participate in the action, talk to the characters, and influence the outcome of the story.
The Live History event at Elsecar Heritage Centre will take you on a journey through the past, where you will meet some of the people who worked and lived in Elsecar. You will have the opportunity to:
- Follow your own chosen path to complete missions, tasks, and clues.
- Speak to the characters and learn about their lives, challenges, and secrets.
- Discover the dynamic history of Elsecar and its role in the Industrial Revolution
- Enjoy a fun and educational experience for all ages.
The Live History event at Elsecar Heritage Centre will take place on Saturday, 28 May 2024, from 10:00 to 16:00. You can book your tickets online through Art Tickets, or you can walk in on the day of the event. The ticket prices are as follows:
