Know Your Neighbourhood Project 2025 – Activities and Events  

Looking to get creative? 

Every Wednesday in June, from 10am until 12pm, in the Sadler Room at the Cooper Gallery, you can make your own masterpiece with artists Sally Philburn and Julia Woodhall. 

Create different types of artwork in a relaxing environment, meet new friends, and enjoy a free cuppa. 

The Art for Wellbeing sessions are part of the Know Your Neighbourhood Project, funded by Historic England and supported by the Barnsley Museums & Heritage Trust, which aims to combat social isolation. 

Also, keep your eyes peeled for future free cinema screenings at the Parkway Cinema, Eldon St
