Invasive Species: Shaping the Landscape

29th May 2021

Invasive Species: Shaping the Landscape is an exhibition of contemporary sculpture by members of the Yorkshire Sculptors Group. The artists explore ideas around nature, humanity and control. To maintain the delicate balance between order and disorder which is characteristic of garden design, the artworks highlight the hidden stories of the landscape management of a Victorian walled garden and a grade 1 listed environment.

We are pleased to announce the exhibition previously shown at Harlow Carr Gardens, Harrogate in 2020/21 by the Yorkshire Sculptors Group will be travelling to Barnsley. You will be able to see the series of artworks at both Wentworth Castle Gardens and Cannon Hall Park and Gardens from 1st July until 31st October.
