Community Toy Swap @ The Glassworks
7th December 2022
Barnsley Museums have teamed up with the National Trust to host a community toy swap to help people with the cost of Christmas.
The event will take place at the Glassworks museum on 8th and 9th December.
Residents are being encouraged to attend and exchange outgrown toys for other preloved ones.
Coun Robert Frost, cabinet spokesperson for regeneration and culture, said:
“We are delighted to be working with our partners at the National Trust. It’s an excellent way for unused toys to get a second lease of life. It comes at a perfect time with Christmas just around the corner and a great way to get some new toys that children will love. It’s also a great way to reduce waste and find joy in preloved purchasing.”
