Working in Partnership with Barnsley College

We are very pleased to announce a new partnership agreement between Barnsley College and Barnsley Museums and Heritage Trust.

We have already been working closely together for the past three years as part of our Joseph Locke Corporate Partnership. Both organisations have a shared vision that young people can be inspired and their aspirations raised by access to the arts and cultural activities.

We have already achieved so much through working together and hope that, through this new partnership, we will be able to do much more.

Students from the college will be able to benefit from:

• Bespoke talks from visiting and resident artists, curators and experts.
• Opportunities for students to hold formal exhibitions throughout Barnsley Museums sites.
• The opportunity to be involved in the planning and curation of exhibitions.
• Work placements.
• The chance for catering students to work with the celebrity chef at the annual Flavours Food Festival.  

This new partnership is a wonderful opportunity to really increase access to culture and the arts in a meaningful way, raising aspirations and creating opportunities for all.
