Adopt a Harvest Mouse

Worsbrough Mill and Country Park is home to the tiny harvest mouse, a priority conservation species. In recent years, an area of reedbeds has been sensitively restored to create a better habitat for this diminutive mammal – weighing only as much as a 2 pence piece – and this has resulted in a significant increase in nest numbers.

By adopting a harvest mouse, you will be helping us to continue with the valuable conservation work at Worsbrough Mill and Country Park which protects this crucial habitat.

Adoption costs £20 and in return you will receive:
