AND Festival 2026 Comes to Barnsley 

The landmark 10th edition of AND (Abandon Normal Devices) Festival is coming to Barnsley from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September, with a programme exploring how our relationship with hidden infrastructure and technology shapes everyday life. 

Expect a varied programme of site-responsive installations, spatial audio experiences, interactive gaming, augmented reality, film, talks and more across the festival weekend. 

AND Festival is also looking for volunteers to help bring the programme to life. Whether you’re passionate about digital arts or simply fancy trying something new, there are opportunities to get involved and be part of the festival team. 

The deadline to apply is 1 September.
